Nationwide Ground Transport and Delivery Logistics

While we prioritize hand delivering our baby Holland Lop bunnies to local families here in Sedona, Arizona, Holland Lop Hill provides safe, fully compliant nationwide ground transport to out of state buyers across the United States. Whether you are located in a neighboring state like California, Nevada, or Colorado, or across the country in Florida, Georgia, or New York, we have a reliable transport solution to bring your new bunny directly to you. Because federal law prohibits mailing live mammals through USPS, FedEx, or UPS, we work exclusively with trusted, independent USDA licensed ground pet shippers. All bunnies travel inside climate controlled vehicles, receive fresh timothy hay and hydration throughout the journey, and are monitored continuously from our Sedona facility to your delivery destination.

How Our Ground Transport Process Works

Getting a pedigreed Holland Lop delivered to your door is a straightforward process. Here is what to expect from start to finish. First, browse our Available Bunnies page and identify the rabbit you want to reserve. Contact us through our Contact Us or at adopt@hollandlophill.com with your name, state, and the bunny you are interested in. We will confirm transport availability to your location and provide a current ground transport quote before you commit to anything. Once you are ready to proceed, submit your non-refundable hold deposit to lock in your bunny. We then coordinate 100% of the transport booking and driver scheduling on your behalf. You will receive the driver’s contact information before departure so you can stay in direct communication throughout the route. Your bunny will be delivered to your home address or a mutually agreed secure public meeting point in your area. Final payment is due in full before transport is arranged.

Transport Requirements and Standards

Every Holland Lop traveling out of state from Holland Lop Hill meets the following requirements before departure: Every rabbit receives a veterinary health examination before transport. A USDA Certificate of Veterinary Inspection signed by our licensed veterinarian travels with the animal across state lines. Bunnies are fully weaned, eating independently, and between 8 and 10 weeks of age before any transport is scheduled. Climate controlled vehicles are used exclusively so your rabbit is never exposed to extreme temperatures during the journey. Fresh timothy hay and water access is maintained throughout the entire route.

Why Ground Transport Is the Safest Option for Rabbits

Rabbits are sensitive animals that do not tolerate the stress of airline cargo holds well. Ground transport in a climate controlled van with proper food and water access is widely regarded by rabbit breeders and veterinarians as the safest and most humane method of long distance delivery for live rabbits. At Holland Lop Hill we will never compromise the health or wellbeing of our bunnies for the sake of convenience, which is why ground transport is our only delivery method.
